Cannot login to domain windows xp

EDIT - ok, there may be a rare exception, a machine with some seriously locked down policies. If that's the case booting from Linux or putting the drive in another PC will let you get to the data. Why not just blow away the XP and install Windows 10 from scratch? In the OP it says he wants to recover data.

Instead of automatically logging into the domain, I got the log on dialog box.

My normal credentials didn't work. I had found it set to the adapter name - bridged mode. I don't remember what this was set to previously, so I don't know if the setting changed or not. I only run one program in XP Mode, so performance isn't a big deal. Apparently the shared setting is slower. How satisfied are you with this reply?
